Live Sound Techniques
by Mark Struthers
Start the free chapterThe world of live sound engineering and hiring out Public Address Systems is looked at in this course specifically designed for those people new to this role. During the course, the user will pick up important information about the different components that constitute a PA system, both analogue and digital. Along the way, techniques covering microphones and miking up acoustic instruments are explored. Also, information about speaker cabinets and placement are looked at too. By the end of the course, the user will be familiar and confident enough to either use their PA system for their own gigs, or to hire it out as a commercial venture. Within the resources section, a video of a recent PA hire is shown as an example.
